Pretty new things in the post

These lovelies arrived in my craft room today. I use a lot of birds in my jewellery, but couldn't resist the wee pug and thought it may look a bit kitsch. 

Cue an evening of making angelic Rottweilers and lovely Labs. No idea how wearable they will be, I mean, I don't want these to look like those jumpers people buy with dogs on them. Will see how they look once they have been glazed. They may end up in my epic fail drawer...

My new computer has turned against my craftiness

It is hard working from home when your craft station is so tantalisingly close. Sitting at my proper desk all day, I can smell the inks and paints behind me. I ache to open up parcels that have arrived with new goodies to use. I think that there can be no better state than being covered in ink and glue.

My old computer was slow and clunky. Whilst sending large e-mails or starting it up in the morning I could grab a few minutes of precious crafting time. Then the new boy arrived and took that time away from me. I do love my new super fast whizzy pooter, but he is too fast to allow me to sneak off for a crafty break. Probably for the best. I do lose track of time...
